Paris Anti-Racism March in face of “Remigration”
Several thousand people attended a march in Paris today against racism and the Far-Right organized by leftwing party France Unbowed.
It’s part of a campaign launched by firebrand leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon, in the face of a rising far right and growing number of racist incidents.

It’s also part of the party’s platform ahead of next year’s presidential election, centred on what Mélenchon calls the “New France”: a broad term highlighting French society’s growing diversity.
The election may be 10 months away, but as Kyle G. Brown reports for CBC Radio, the lines are already being drawn between the left and the far-right.
